This week we taper for our 1st attempt on Friday. If you are planning on doing 2 attempts you may want to do Thursday and Sunday. The best strategy really does come down to what is in the workout.
clean complex:
1 clean from hip + hang + floor + front squat + jerk; rest 1 min x 5
*RPE 7, Light enough for no misses
Conditioning
OTM X 21 min
M1: :40 bike for cals
M2: 5 squat clean thrusters (light enough to focus on form)
M3: Power clean + 5 push jerk (light enough to focus on form)
*We've spent the last couple weeks building in weight. Now is the time to back off a bit and dial in form
